The 2010 IndependenceFirst POWER LUNCH was held on Wednesday, July 28 at Potawatomi Bingo Casino's Expo Center. We moved our event to a new location this year and welcomed Lou Ferrigno as our guest speaker!
"The Incredible" Lou Ferrigno shared his story of success, personal wellness/fitness philosophies and challenges as a person who lives with hearing loss. The IndependenceFirst POWER LUNCH highlighted the untapped potential of people with disabilities as a workforce, market force and group that contributes to the diversity of our community. We also celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at this year’s luncheon.
